Baptism
Lutherans, like many Christians, baptize children and infants. Why? The simplest answer is two-fold:
Nursery Rooms We know that it can be difficult to bring young ones to worship. Many churches have places where parents can drop their children off while they go and worship. We believe that, if at all possible, families ought to worship together. Children learn by following the pattern they see in their parents. It's worth the effort! We also know that there will be times when a child is restless and needs to be taken out of the sanctuary. For this reason we have two nursery rooms where parents of young children can go and still see and hear the worship service. Mornings with Mommy
Every first and third Wednesday of the month, parents and their little ones gather in our fellowship hall for educational play-dates we call Mornings with Mommy. Find out more or sign up for Mornings with Mommy. Cradle Roll Parents need support and encouragement as they take on the task of raising their children. The cradle roll program provides parents with Bible-based parenting literature and encouragement. |
