Our congregation exists to proclaim Christ in our congregation and community, to families and individuals, all for the glory of God.
To find out more about us, feel free to browse this web site, contact us by phone or email, or just stop by! Visitors are always welcome at St. Peter. Whether you join us for our Sunday morning worship services, one of our many Bible studies, or you wish to visit our school, we would love to have you join us!
We're located in the Village One community of Modesto, on Merle Avenue between Roselle and Claus. We're across the street from the new Daniel Savage Middle School.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Pet. 1:3)

Liturgical Color: White: White is the color that signifies the godhead and eternity, the color of the robe of the glorified Christ and of the angels and saints in heaven, as well as perfection, joy and purity.
Farewell to the Caauwes
We are planning a farewell gathering for the Caauwes on May 25 after the late service. We will move our church picnic, which would usually have been held a week later, to the 25th and say good-by to the Caauwes over hamburgers and hot dogs.
Please plan to join us on May 25th to thank Pastor Caauwe for his service and to wish him and his family God’s blessings as they move to their new home in El Paso.
The Church Organ - An Instrument of Praise: If you are available the morning of Wednesday, May 21, you are welcome to join Mr. Linton’s class for a deeper look into the church organ. The lesson will start in our church with organ history, theory, sounds and manufacturing and conclude with a tour including two local church pipe organs. This special class will begin shortly after chapel.
Streaming Audio of Sermons are available through May 4, 2008.
